Rig inspections are performed periodically to insure all components are in safe working condition. All load bearing areas and welds are tested visually and with magnetic particle or liquid penetrant testing. Ultrasonic testing is used when necessary or as per client request. This service can be performed on shore or offshore. However for a full rig inspection the rig needs to be disassembled. Only accessable areas will be inspected for assembled components.
